me and them

The judge's cat is digging up my test subjects between the hours of twelve and two am every night.  I set the latest failure on the ground above the rest and hid in the sedge until she came.  Buttons.  I've already decided how she will be dealt with.  It's convenient, in a way.  The spiderlings are almost mature and will be anxious to start hunting.

Do:
1. <s>train spiderlings</s> construct false Buttons
2. <s>use false Buttons to train spiderlings</s> research spider-training, including use of false Buttons... This may be more complicated than I thought.
3. continue translation
4. continue experiments
5. get more test subjects

I’ve noticed a disturbing trend in conversations with my brother Pugsley...

Me: How did you learn to make nitroglycerin?
Him: Internet.

Me: How did you get blueprints to our school’s air conditioning system?
Him: Internet.

Me: How did you hot-wire a school bus?
Him: Internet.

So here I am. He doesn’t get to have all the fun. Show-off.  In the meantime, having a place to record my thoughts seems advisable.  Cousin Bežigrad Addams kept over three hundred journals over the course of his hermitage in Siberia.  Although the last hundred or so don't seem to contain any actual words- unless he invented his own language...

Do:
1. translate Cousin Bežigrad's journals
2. find out who or what has been digging up my test subjects
3. find more test subjects
4. continue tests
